Multifunctional Ecosystem Restoration in the Nordic countries
Habitats are very proud and happy to share this brand new contribution to the field of ecosystem restoration in a multifunctional perspective.
On behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers Habitats have written this report, in collaboration with good partners in other companies and people involved in the projects. Projects to conserve and restore ecosystems are important, but we also need to include social and economic perspectives in these projects. With this TemaNord we hope to inspire projects and policymakers to make more multifunctional and successful projects in the Nordic region.
We are thankful that the six inspirational cases have shared their experiences with us.
Whether you are involved in practical projects, academia, politics, or anything else related to biodiversity and ecosystem restoration, please check out the assessment of selected Nordic projects and the policy recommendations.
